IRiS RESTRAINT - Design Right 2001
The Koller IRiS (Integrated Restraint System) is a complete wheelchair and occupant restraint solution.  Designed with the occupant in mind, it incorporates features demanded by users.
 
Of most significance and benefit for both occupant and user is that IRiS does not require any front wheelchair tie-down straps. This provides occupant dignity, while saving space and user time.  
 
With IRiS securely locked in the rails, the wheelchair is pulled tight against the adjustable frame using the adjustable        tie-down straps.  This effectively secures the wheelchair in an emergency, while preventing any movement during transit.
 
The occupant harness is from our Double Inertia Reel Harness, thereby providing the same levels of safety, comfort and ease of use.  For improved comfort and safety, 3-Point versions are available.
