"TITAN" TELESCOPIC RAMPS
"TITAN" Telescopic Ramps provide a simple, safe, versatile and cost-effective solution for wheelchair vehicle access or to overcome obstacles. Available in 3 lengths, they are suitable for most vehicles, including estate cars, MPV’s, converted wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis, motorhomes and minibuses.  The telescopic design ensures they can be “closed” after use, and together with their light weight, makes them entirely portable.  A locking device secures the sections when handling and prevents rattle during transit.
 
Free-standing models incorporate angled plates with anti-slip rubber to rest on the vehicle floor or obstacle.  Fixing kit versions have an additional hinge mechanism that clips into a piece of rail mounted in the vehicle or on the obstacle surface.  This prevents any possible slippage and is particularly useful when used with electric powered wheelchairs that can produce high tractive forces.  No tools are required as the ramp hinge simply slots into the rail.

The use of ramps with fixing kits are recommended if the person is to remain in the wheelchair while being conveyed into a vehicle, and when using electric powered wheelchairs.  Weights / dimensions  (except SWL)  are approximate and intended for guidance only.  *Based on a gradient of 1 in 4.
