FAST RS Restraint


The Koller FAST RS Wheelchair Restraint is a more cost-effective version of our standard FAST system.
 

All tie-down straps utilise our special Rail Clip Fittings for fastening into compatible rails. Rail Clips enable the straps to be fitted quickly and safely, providing secure anchorage of the wheelchair.


Only the rear tie-down straps utilise self-retracting FAST retractors, while at the front of the wheelchair, fixed length straps from our Heavy-Duty 4-Point Wheelchair Restraint are employed. This combination enables almost the same quick operation as the FAST system but in a simpler package.


The front straps are fitted first to the wheelchair. Webbing is then simply extended from the rear FAST retractors to the required length and the fitting attached to the wheelchair. The belts are self-tensioning and further tension can be achieved via the Dual Knobs. This provides the system tension for safety in an impact. Sideways movement of the wheelchair during transit is also prevented, thus aiding occupant safety, comfort and peace of mind.
